E6B Flight Computer
The core E6B math that comes up in flight planning and on the checkride — pressure and density altitude, true airspeed, the wind triangle, and cloud base. Pick a calculation, type your numbers, read the answer. Every field is editable; the defaults show a vivid hot-and-high example.
The wind-triangle section draws the air vector, wind leg, and resulting ground track so you can see where the crab angle comes from — not just the heading and groundspeed numbers.
Pressure altitude = field elevation + (29.92 − altimeter) × 1,000. Density altitude adds ~120 ft per °C above the standard temperature; TAS scales CAS by the standard-atmosphere density ratio (CAS ≈ IAS with no POH calibration table). Defaults show a hot, high PA-28 / Cherokee example — edit any field for your own aircraft and conditions.
