Reading the screen: cyan is a value you entered, green is a computed result, amber means a field still needs input or the entry needs a CHECK. SOLVED lights when every result is computed; STO keeps a value to reuse in another function; the line-select keys beside the screen pick the field the keypad edits.
How much weight to move between stations to relocate the CG: weight = gross × CG change ÷ move distance (FAA-H-8083-1B p. 2-4, Basic Weight and Balance Equation). The default here is our own example — on a 7,800 lb airplane, moving the CG 1.0 in with a 120 in station change takes 65 lb; the handbook works the same equation on a 500 lb lever.
