Required rate of climb
Converts a published climb gradient (departure procedures print ft/NM) into the vertical-speed needle at your groundspeed: fpm = gradient × GS ÷ 60, the same table printed in the TPP legend.
Reading the screen: cyan is a value you entered, green is a computed result, amber means a field still needs input or the entry needs a CHECK. SOLVED lights when every result is computed; STO keeps a value to reuse in another function; the line-select keys beside the screen pick the field the keypad edits.

The standard 200 ft/NM at 90 kt over the ground needs 300 fpm — and more whenever a tailwind raises groundspeed.
