The wind you are actually flying in: wind vector = ground vector − air vector, the inverse of the wind triangle (heading and course must share a reference; the wind comes out in that same reference).

Reading the screen: cyan is a value you entered, green is a computed result, amber means a field still needs input or the entry needs a CHECK. SOLVED lights when every result is computed; STO keeps a value to reuse in another function; the line-select keys beside the screen pick the field the keypad edits.

How this is computed

The wind you are actually flying in: wind vector = ground vector − air vector, the inverse of the wind triangle (heading and course must share a reference; the wind comes out in that same reference). Crabbing 8° right of a due-north course at 120 kt TAS while making 100 kt over the ground means a ~25 kt wind from about 040. Pinned as the wind triangle's round-trip in scripts/test-tools-core.ts.
