Pressure altitude

Indicated altitude corrected to the 29.92 inHg standard datum: elevation + (29.92 − setting) × 1,000 ft, the linear ~1 inHg-per-1,000-ft conversion from FAA-H-8083-25C ch 11.

How this is computed

Indicated altitude corrected to the 29.92 inHg standard datum: elevation + (29.92 − setting) × 1,000 ft, the linear ~1 inHg-per-1,000-ft conversion from FAA-H-8083-25C ch 11. The CX-3 uses an exact baro formula instead — on its own worked example (5,900 ft, 29.75 inHg) the manual prints 6,059 ft where this linear model gives 6,070 ft; the FAA linear form is what this site's tests pin.
